The Parties to the Nauru Agreement (PNA) purse-seine fishery and supply chain largely avoided COVID-related disruptions and had a positive 2020, according to a report given during a government meeting of the eight nations that make up the sub-grouping on 11 December.

The report indicates that fishing effort in the purse-seine fishery has remained high in 2020, with no significant COVID-related downturn.

PNA Western and Central Pacific Skipjack and Yellowfin, Unassociated / Non FAD Set, Tuna Purse Seine Fishery; P.O. Box 3992, PNA Building, Uliga, Majuro, MH 96960, Republic of Marshall Islands has been certified by SCS Global Services for the Group MSC Chain of Custody certification for Harvest, Transshipment and Transportation of MSC-certified PNA Western and Central Pacific skipjack and yellowfin tuna. The assessment has been conducted by SCS Global Services in accordance with the protocols of the Marine Stewardship Council.

The following documents relate to decisions made by PNA on the Total Allowable Effort (TAE) for the Purse Seine VDS.
